And we are talking things I didn’t initially go seeking out, not like a case of I read it and forgot it and then later thought it was my own idea.

It was a little disheartening at first, when your ego wants you to be the smartest in the room. But I realized the truth eventually, that it’s all connected.

Who’s to say that my thinking about it in the present didn’t cause the discovery in the past?

It happened so many times, in so many disparate fields, it got to the point where I felt like if I had an idea I had to act upon it immediately or it would be stolen. Oh and that shit continued until just recently.

Before I started publishing these conversations, I thought, a TTRPG would be a good way to spread my ideas, you should remember we discussed that. And not a week later, my Facebook feed is cluttered with ads for new TTRPGs touching upon the specific ideas I’d been discussing with you.

Obviously if they are out for purchase it means they have been in development for a long time right? But you can see how the timing is just too good to be true.

So maybe it’s not intentional cosmic idea theft as I’d first thought, or not in such a simple fashion, but it’s still frustrating when I KNOW I am the one making the discoveries, and I am the one coming up with the ideas.
