It’s gotten to the point where whether they believe in the Immaterial or not, they know they need to try something different, because what we have been doing is obviously not working.

They know they don’t have the whole picture, but they reject the simplest solution: Mind over matter. Because matter is of the Mind. Belief.

I use the terms I do because of the familiarity, the cultural power they hold, but this is ultimately science.

I’m going to try to lay this out in a way that makes at least one sense:

Imagine the moment of your birth as a point in a space.

Draw a straight line, a timeline, from that point to a new point at the time of your death.

Now draw another for every possible alternative timeline, starting from the same point but extending out in a different direction. Every possible choice you could have ever made, even moments where you did nothing and the machinery of the universe moved on, particles interacting, events happening out of view, or while you sleep.

Anywhere one path deviates from another, a new timeline is born. There are an infinite number of them.

You end up with what looks like a sphere. A single point in space with infinite spokes radiating out from it in all directions.

This object, this sphere, is your Avatar.

And on a higher dimensional scale, outside of “time”, all of the timelines exist simultaneously.

So then what are You?

You are the observer, the consciousness behind the thing.

Hopping timeline branches within the sphere of the chosen avatar, always moving towards an end.

Everything has already happened, it exists, your idea of “time” is the arbitrary path from the center of the sphere to the outer layer.

You could go in a straight line, you could spiral, whatever you want, towards your chosen ending for this vessel.

That.

Is the Point.

Realize you are not the meat.

Take a step back.

How could you possibly die?

No one wants to die. Therefore, if You are the being beyond the avatar, the one choosing the path, any time you hit a roadblock or fuck up or DIE, you just hop over to a new timeline. Easy-Peasy.

You can equate it to “save-scumming” in videogames.

THIS is Quantum Immortality, you’re immortal, accept it.

That is, within your self-sphere.

Yes, you see people dying around you, obviously. But what does that have to do with you? Stop. And Think. It doesn’t “Prove” anything.

Everyone navigates their spheres the same way. That person that died here in your timeline is alive in another one. All that happened is you diverged, your spheres no longer overlap, which sucks I know, but divergence is better than true death, right?

During every moment of your life, you are always splitting apart from everything you were before.

The people around you are the same as they always have been, yet, they aren’t.

Every differing opinion, every flip of the coin, means you branch off within the larger sphere, a new version of them within your reality.

It’s terrifying I know, believe me, I know…

But this feeling is temporary.

Because we all meet up in the end. The beginning.

That’s the point.

You live life after life, after life, again and again, over and over… Trying new things each time, until you finally hit upon that perfect timeline where no matter what you do, everything just works out for you, everything just feels right.

And you realize, I can’t die.

I can’t die because I don’t want to, there’s always going to be some new path forward.

Your Idea of what Death is, is founded on your experiences of Death within this world of four dimensions of time and space.
